Maths Week Ireland is an all-Ireland celebration of Mathematics and its applications and is a partnership of over 50 groups – universities, institutes of technology, colleges, museums, libraries, visitor centres, professional bodies indeed any group that sees the importance of maths and the importance of promoting maths.
Maths Week Ireland promotes, awareness, appreciation and understanding of maths through a huge variety of events and activities.
Founded and coordinated by Eoin Gill and Sheila Donegan of Calmast, Waterford Institute of Technology’s STEM outreach centre. The festival has now grown to be the biggest festival of its kind in the world.
Maths Week Ireland 2017 will be the 12th birthday of Maths Week Ireland, and will take place from Saturday 14th to Sunday 22nd October.
